"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's. The oak panel is cradled. The paint layer is stable, but there are two noticeable splits to the panel, mid left and right. The left one bears discoloured restoration. There is some old restoration lower left and minor paint losses and paint thinnesses."
