Support This print is on a sheet of contemporary laid paper showing no watermark. The sheet has been skilfully repaired in the following areas: the lower left and right corners; the centre areas of both the left and right-hand sides (see marked illustration). Medium Apart from the addition of skilful matching facsimile areas on the paper repairs, this print has been considerably enhanced with black ink over the original lines. In addition to this small lines have been added to give the make the viewer think that the print is a finer impression, these are noticeable in the blank areas, particularly in the top right corner. The verso also has been enhanced - where ink has naturally penetrated as it would in a fine impression these lines have been touched with small black dots and lines of ink to simulate a finer print.
