Provenance

Condition

Support The fine contemporary laid paper supporting this print shows a watermark of the profile of a Human Head. The sheet has been skilfully repaired on the upper right corner and in an area beneath the gown of Christ (this may just be a thinned area that has had added paper). Medium The engraving has been enhanced with black ink on the Virgin's face and the nose of Christ as well as other places, to simulate a finer impression.
