  • 102 by 140mm; 4 by 5 1/2 in
Engraving, 1513, a brilliant impression, with small margins, an unobtrusive vertical fold at centre (only visible verso), otherwise in good condition

Provenance

Ex coll. F B. 1602 (L. 365, 369, identified in the Fisher sale catalogue as Borduge, 23-27 May, 1892, lot 197, £5.15); and Dr. W. Krieg (L. 799b). Also bears pencil retracings of Mariette's signature (L. 2204) and the stamp of R. Fisher (L. 2204)

Condition

Support This print with small margins is in a good conditoin. At some point the paper has been cleaned, which has caused loss of the iron gall ink in the signature of Mariette and the "Bird" collectors mark lower left, on the verso which have been pencilled over. Medium The impression is fine.
