The complete set of 58 aquatints, 1922-7, with title-page, text, list of plates and justification, this copy numbered 169 from the edition of 425 (there were also 25 hors commerce copies) printed by Jacquemin, published by Édition de L' Étoile Filante, Paris, on Arches laid paper, with the watermark Ambroise Vollard, with full margins, in very good condition, apart from some occasional fox marks, minor paper discoloration to the extreme edges of some sheets, some offsetting verso, loose in original wrappers, in brown cloth covered portfolio box with title on spine and brass clasp

The work is in overall good fresh condition. The mentioned occasional fox marks to some plates and pages, including the title page. Occasional localised areas of pale discoloration to the images and margins. the self portrait in very good condition with one or two minor fox marks to margins and pale paper discoloration to extreme edges of sheet. The original box in good condition apart from the interior of the boards discoloured, occasional handling marks, scratches and rubbed areas. The vellum spine split at bottom edge.
