Description

  • Gilles-Marie Oppenort
  • study of the chapel of st. vitale in the church of st. gervais, paris
  • pen and brown ink and grey wash within black framing lines

Condition

The drawing has been previously folded in four and retains sharp creases. It is laid down. Along the upper edge there are narrow strips of tape, the leftmost one was removed taking the surface of the drawing with it. There is a small restored paper loss in the upper part of the left column. The overall condition is, however, quite good and the wash is very fresh.
