Condition
Catalogue colour comparison:
The blue tones are brighter, bluer and less purple than the illustration suggests. The paper tone is also slightly warmer than the illustration suggests.
Structure:
Executed on wove paper. The sheet is sound and is slightly undulating along the edges. It is attached to its mount along the reverse of the upper edge with one strip of masking tape. There are six tiny minor media spots to the background scattered through the upper half of the sheet. The edges of the sheet have slightly discoloured under the mount and the full sheet size beneath the mount measures 61 by 46cm.; 24 by 18in.
Otherwise the sheet is in good original condition.
The work is signed and dated 85 on the reverse and is further inscribed on the reverse:
