RUBY AND DIAMOND RING AND PAIR OF MATCHING EAR STUDS

The ring centring on a cabochon ruby weighing approximately 7.00 carats, surrounded by baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 4.80 carats; and the pair of ear studs of matching design, set with rubies and diamonds altogether weighing approximately 4.50 and 1.55 carats respectively; mounted in 18 karat yellow gold. Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the cabochon ruby set in the ring is of medium red colour, semi-transparent. Under 10x inspection, there are natural inclusions such as fingerprints and crystals, but generally not noticeable to unaided eyes. Two other rubies set in the earrings are slightly purplish red of similar tone, and semi-transparent clarity which appear moderately included to unaided eyes. Diamonds are about G to I colours, VS clarity, brilliant stones. Condition: General signs of wear, otherwise in very good condition.
