Condition
The movement is running, however it should be overhauled soon. The main time zone cannot be adjusted and will have to be serviced. The 'London_Paris' and the 'San Francisco' time zones do not adjust without affecting the other time zones; whereas the other two time zones are able to be adjusted independently. The gear works for this time zone should therefore be oiled and serviced. The typeface for San Francisco differs from the typeface for the other time zones and it appears that the word San Francisco was written in a slightly larger typeface below the darker, more visible typing. There is an Arabic numeral 4 in between the 'Berlin_Rome' and 'Tokyo' time zones on the right side of the main dial. The onyx case is generally in good condition with some very minor chips to the edges, particularly to the top back left corner, the bottom front right corner, the front side near 10 o'clock and the top right edge in the middle of the silver accent strips. Some of the silver enhancements show tarnish and scuffs, particularly the engraved presentation plaque and the accent strips to the top. The panel to the back shows abrasions, scuffs and discoloration. The clock is numbered 2731 to the outside back plate, to the movement, the key and the inside of the bezel surrounding the dial. The key has been detached from the chain for shipping, however it can be re-attached.
