Condition

French assay marks for platinum and gold. When this suite was originally purchased it was accompanied by 46GIA reports stating that 46 of the diamonds range in weight from 1.00 to 3.58 cts, from D to E colour and from Internally Flawless to VS2 clarity. These certificates are unfortunately no longer available but the colour and clarity mentioned appear, in our opinion, to correspond to the diamonds in the necklace. Total diamond weight for the suite approximately 180.00-200.00 cts, for the remaining smaller stones of an average E-G colour and VS clarity, bright and lively well-cut diamonds, as partly gauged and graded in the mount. Rubies all of deep red hue with rich colour saturation and typical crystal inclusions, hardly visible to the unaided eye. Attractive stones, well matched in colour. For further details on the rubies please refer to the SSEF reports. The ear pendants with strong clips, no posts. Overall some usual signs of wear, in good condition. Very impressive and well made suite.
