Description

  • The central diamond on the brooch and the diamond on the ring can both be detached and set on accompanied ring fitting. Further accompanied by a black cord and its diamond-set hook allowing the brooch to be worn as a pendant.
The brooch of openwork geometric design, set throughout with circular-cut diamonds, accompanied by a ring bezel-set to the centre with a similarly-cut stone, ring size 51, all mounted in platinum.

Condition

French assay marks for platinum and indistinct maker's marks. The two principal diamonds weighing ca. 1.40 and1.50 each, of I-J colour and SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Total diamond weight of the brooch approximately 6.00-7.00 cts, of an average I colour and VS-SI clarity, mainly old-cut and single-cut diamonds. Clasps to unlock the detachable diamonds secure. An additional diamond set loop can be attached to the brooch and wear it as a pendant, the clasp of this loop needs some professional inspection. All items in good condition, only the black cord, with base metal ends, needs replacement.
