The collage areas of the work appear to be in stable condition. Several areas of the impasto paint along the right edge of the cloth collage exhibit either paint loss or lifting. There is craquelure in all the black areas along the lower edge of the canvas. There are also scattered areas of lifting and paint loss in the impasto areas of the bottom edge. There is slight buckling to the lower left corner and a ½ in. scratch to the upper left corner. Under ultraviolet light there are no signs of inpainting.
