Condition

The canvas is unlined and well stretched. Under ultra violet light there is a ½ in area of inpainting in the child's left elbow and there also appears to be scattered inpainting along the edges especially along the lower right edge and the lower left corner. Under raking light there appears to be craquelure throughout the work and some areas appear to be lifting a little more especially in the childs right arm. There are a few abrasions along all four edges especially the top and right edges consistent with frame abrasions. Overall the work appears to be in good and stable condition
