Condition
The canvas is unlined and well stretched. Under ultra violet light there is no evidence of inpainting. There is a horizontal crease along the left upper edge most likely from the stretcher. There is also slight buckling to the canvas in the upper left corner. There is slight craquelure to a few of the impasto areas and a ¾ in. loss with flaking around the edges in the black shape in the lower left. There are also four ¼-1/2 in. losses in the background area along the lower right edge. There is also a small loss along the upper right edge due to frame abrasions.
