Condition
This painting is unlined and on its original stretcher. There is one patch visible on the lower left of the reverse. The paint layer exhibits the expected craquelure, however it is clean and stable.
Under inspection with an ultraviolet light there are about a half dozen or so small restorations throughout the water addressing small paint losses. There is also one restoration which corresponds with the patch.
No further restoration is recommended and the painting should be hung as is.
