Description

The Roman bronze partial figure of a bearded man, depicting the Roman god Serapis, decorated with polished wires, organic textured edging and a vine motif, topped with a baroque cultured pearl, length approximately 100mm, signed Gage.

Condition

Polished metal detail probably gold, not hallmarked. The baroque cultured pearl with light silver bodycolour, with high lustre. Signed GAGE to an applied plaque on reverse of bronze figure. Old repair to reverse of figure. Safety catch to detachable clasp. Weight approximately 126.6 grams. In very good condition.
