PAIR OF TOURMALINE EAR CLIPS AND AN AMETRINE PENDANT, ROBERTO BURLE MARX, 1970s

Description

Each textured earring decorated with a collet-set fantasy-cut green tourmaline, signed Burle Marx; the ametrine collet-set in a textured mount pierced with squares of varying sizes, signed Burle Marx, maker's marks, hinged pendant loop fitting, part illustrated.

Condition

Earrings: Each stamped 18K for 18 carat gold below clip. Tourmalines a very slightly bluish green hue with moderate saturation of colour, typical inclusions and very small cavities visible with magnification. Strong clip fittings. Pendant: Ametrine, is a variety of quartz, a combination of amethyst and citrine. Measuring approximately 36.0mm x 25.0mm x 17.8mm, estimated to weigh approximately 89.49 carats. Pendant is heavy estimated to weigh approximately 38.6 grams. Both pieces in very good condition.
