Comprising: a pendant necklace, a pair of pendant earrings and a brooch/pendant of foliate and scroll répoussé work with bead detail, set with oval and pear-shaped amethysts, later snake chain link, 1860s, length approximately 390mm, three stones in necklace and one stone in brooch are paste, all drops on brooch, earrings and necklace detachable, later fitted case.

Condition

Amethysts in brooch and drops on necklace a medium purple hue with moderately strong saturation of colour, the earrings with light purple amethysts with a moderate saturation of colour, typical inclusions visible with magnification. The two side drops and central fixed panel on necklace set with paste stones and the Lower central stone in brooch a paste replacement some with air bubbles visible with a 10x lens. One link in later necklace chain damaged, could benefit from attention by a jeweller. Drops on earrings can detach and attach to loop fittings on necklace, pendant drop on brooch and necklace removable. Tarnish throughout piece visible to front and reverse, could benefit from a professional clean. In good condition.
