Description
Comprising: a rectangular clutch bag of woven design, opening to reveal a mirrored lid and a comb, measurements approximately: length 140mm, width 75mm, depth from 18mm to 42mm, damage to corner of mirror; and a brooch designed as an owl, its body of carved coral embellished with cabochon chalcedony eyes and lines of brilliant-cut diamonds, part illustrated.
Condition
Evening bag: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to the inside rim of mirror. Some small scratches visible to polished surfaces consistent with wear. One corner of the mirror cracked and detached. Secure closing mechanism. Weight approximately 303.9 grams. Both comb and mirror in good condition.
Owl brooch: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and PSN for Geneva assay marks. Estimated diamond weight approximately 0.35 carat. Lively stones. Chalcedony cabochons well matched in size and colour with medium saturation, depicting the eyes of the owl. Coral in excellent condition, white banding evident to one side. In overall very good condition.
