Comprising: an amethyst and citrine necklace designed as an articulated fringe of hexagonal-shaped and circular-cut stones, length approximately 430mm, case by Heming & Co, 28, Conduit St. London.; a necklace designed as an articulated fringe of oval garnets, length approximately 360mm; a moonstone necklace designed as an articulated fringe of oval cabochon moonstone, length approximately 365mm; a necklace, suspending oval amethyst drops intersperced with capped dog-tooth pearls, to a central open work pendant of floral design set with seed pearls and centring on a similarly shaped amethyst, composite, length approximately 415mm; a citrine necklace, set with circular-cut stones to a central latin cross composed of carved citrines, to a curb link chain, length approximately 360mm; a pendant necklace, suspending a square open work plaque, centring on a circular-cut amethyst, highlighted with seed pearls, to a fancy link chain, length approximately 360mm; a pendant necklace of foliate open work design, embellished with variously-cut blue zircons and seed pearls, length approximately 390mm; a peridot and seed pearl necklace centring on a tied ribbon bow motif, to a fine curb link chain, length approximately 410mm; a pendant of annular design set throughout with seed pearls, suspending to the centre a star motif, to a later flattened s-link chain, length approximately 495mm; an opal negligé necklace, each stone collet set with a knife-edge connection, length approximately 440mm; three brooches, the first set throughout with cabochon moonstones; a brooch/pendant in the form of a heart with a lattice motif set with half-pearls with a step-cut peridot to the centre, one pearl deficient, the third of open work scroll and foliate design surmounting a step-cut peridot, variously-shaped garnets and highlighted with seed pearls; and pair of pendant earrings, each suspending a simulant pearl, surmounted by a row of rose-cut diamonds, screw-back fittings, part illustrated.
Condition
Amethyst and citrine necklace: Amethysts of a light purplish hue with light saturation of colour. Citrines of light orangy-yellow hue with light saturation of colour. In good condition.
Articulated fringe necklace of oval garnets: Garnets of orangy-red hue with medium saturation of colour. Safety chain with shepherds crook hook catch attached to clasp. In good condition.
Moonstone necklace: Moonstones have a light adularescence. Two links connecting clasps are considerably worn and could benefit from replacement.
Oval amethyst drop necklace: Amethysts of slight to strong saturation of colour. Typical inclusions visible under x10 magnification. Dog tooth pearls of creamy-white bodycolour and low lustre. Engraved to reverse of clasp with 'In Memory W.E.M Oct.1904'. Signs of lead solder to link connecting pendant to necklace. In good condition.
Citrine necklace: Citrines of light saturation of colour. One stone chipped. Would benefit from a professional clean. Two links connecting clasp to chain misshapen and could benefit from being replaced. In overall good condition.
Amethyst pendant necklace: Stamped 9K for 9 carat gold to side of clasp. Amethysts of light to medium saturation of colour. Seed pearls of creamy-white bodycolour with rosé overtones, low to medium lustre. Some markings to pendant top, could benefit from gentle clean. In good condition.
Blue zircon pendant necklace: Stamped 9CT for 9 carat gold to reverse of pendant. Blue zircons of mixed colours, varying from light blue to slight yellowish-blue hue. Seed pearls of creamy bodycolour with poor lustre. Some seed pearls flaking to skin and showing pit marks. In overall good condition.
Peridot and seed pearls necklace: Stamped 9CT for 9 carat gold to reverse of central pendant. Peridots of slight yellowish-green hue with medium saturation of colour. Seed pearls of creamy-white bodycolour with rosé overtones, some showing significant signs of peeling to skin due to age. One seed pearl deficient. Signs of lead solder. In overall good condition.
Star motif pendant: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and 1 AR to clasp, 15CT for 15 carat gold to reverse of pendant. Seed pearls of creamy bodycolour with signs of cultivation marks. In good condition.
An opal negligé: Two opals displaying a moderate play of colour with dominant blue colour, small areas of dirt trapped to reverse of collet setting. In overall good condition.
Cabochon moonstone brooch: Small number of moonstones displaying a very slight adularescence. Typical inclusions visible under x10 magnification. Signs of lead solder visible to centre of brooch. In overall good condition.
Peridot heart-shaped brooch: Stamped 9CT for 9 carat gold to reverse of brooch. Peridot of slight yellow-green hue, with slight saturation of colour. Seed pearls of grey bodycolour with rosé overtones. Poor lustre with signs of wrinkling to skin of seed pearls. One seed pearl deficient. In overall good condition.
Garnet and peridot brooch: Stamped 9CT to reverse of brooch. Peridots of slight yellowish-green hue, with slight saturation of colour. Typical inclusions visible under x10 magnification. Garnets of purplish-red hue with moderate to strong saturation of colour. Seed pearls of cream and grey bodycolour with slight rosé overtones and signs of wrinkling to skin. In good condition,
Pair of pendant earrings: Simulant pearls. Rose-cut diamonds heavily included. In overall good condition.
