Description

Designed as two rows of seed pearls, set to the centre with a floral open work panel, decorated throughout with pink, green, white and black enamel, the central flower head embellished with a circular-cut diamond and suspending a pearl drop, further accented to either side with two similarly-set flower head spacers, to later barrel-shaped clasp, length approximately 430mm, later additional pearls, fitted case by Joseph Heming & Co. 28, Conduit St. London. W.

Condition

Later clasp. Diamonds bright. Pearls with a creamy bodycolour, low to medium lustre on average, pearl drop a darker cream, medium lustre, a crack to the nacre only visible to the reverse. Enamel decoration bright and in very good condition overall, a small chip to one petal on each flower head spacer. 19 pearls have been added to either end to lengthen the necklace. Knotting where visible a little discoloured, could benefit from being restrung by a professional. In very good condition.
