SPINEL AND DIAMOND RING, 1930s

Description

Centring on a step-cut spinel set between graduated baguette diamond shoulders, size O. 

Condition

The spinel measures 11.75 x 9.83 x 6.75mm (weigh approximately 6.70 carats), highly saturated orangy red colour of medium to medium dark tone, eye clean and very lively. Included crystals and abrasions along stone edges under 10x loupe. Diamonds on shoulders are bright. Signs of wear on the shank consistent with age. Overall in very good condition.
