A finely worked globular, lidded pot. The lid is hammered gold set with a green chalcedony on the top surrounded by foliate designs and granulation. Below this is a row of flowers in full bloom with a cabochon pink ruby set in the centre of each with casing for inlay, originally inlaid with green glass, in a foliate design snaking around each flower. Beneath this is a row of granulation and on the rim a row of cabochon pink rubies interspersed with an occasional green glass bead. The pot base is plain hammered gold.
