Avalokiteshvara seated in lalitasana on a lotus supported by a stepped pedestal and surrounded by a flaming halo, with his lowered right hand in varada mudra and the left raised and holding the stem of a lotus blossoming at the shoulder, the yajnopavita crossing the naked upper torso, the bodhisattva wearing a short dhoti and simple jewelry, and a diminutive figure of Amitabha seated before the tall jatamakhuta, the whole with a rich and lustrous patina.
