Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a small spot of retouching just above the white flowers to the left of the vase, visible under UV light. Apart from a small area of paint loss to the thickly applied paint in the yellow flower to the centre of the bouquet (visible in the catalogue illustration) and some minor stable craquelure to the red flowers, this work is in good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate although the greens in the background are stronger and deeper in the original.
