Condition

The canvas is not lined. There are several small areas of retouching to the lower half of the canvas, a very small area of retouching towards the centre of the right edge, a line of retouching along the extreme upper edge and a small area of retouching to the upper right corner, all visible under UV light. Apart from a nailhead-sized spot of paint loss to the lower right quadrant, a nailhead-sized spot of paint loss to the centre left, a speck of paint loss to the centre of the left edge, some scattered specks of paint loss to the upper right quadrant and a very thin scratch, mainly to the varnish, towards the lower left corner, this work is in overall good condition.
