Condition
The canvas is relined. This work originally was part of a large canvas. It was then cut up into smaller sized paintings after his death and stamped with the studio stamp. The upper section (2 cm ) was completed by another hand in order to provide appropriate support for its affixment to the stretcher. Under UV light there are 3 pinhead sized spots of retouching at the upper edge, towards the upper left corner.
