canvas unlined, surface slightly soiled, 3mm flake above signature, another 3mm flake to lower right of left figure, slight vertical abrasion with associated 2 by 4mm flake between figures, a few scattered areas of moderate craquelure, under UV light two small inpainted flakes, inpainted craquelure to dress of left figure, some to hat and head, some inpainted craquelure to hat and head of second figure
