Description

  • diameter 35mm.
• cal. 12-600AT nickel lever movement stamped with the seal of Geneva, Gyromax balance, 30 jewels, micrometer regulator, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, engine-turned 18k gold signed rotor • enamel dial, applied luminescent gold bullet indexes, luminescent gold dauphine hands, subsidiary seconds • 18k circular case, chamfered bezel, PP crown, downturned lugs, engraved inscription to the screw back • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k gold Patek Philippe buckle

Condition

The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial is very clean with no hairlines. The case shows some oxidation on the bezel and the band. The case has been polished at some point. The inscription to the case back reads 'Dr. David Lynn.' The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species; please refer to Important Notices for further information.

The present example is one of only ten in yellow gold from this reference to appear at auction bearing a luminescent dial. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time the present lot has been offered at auction.
