- width 8.8cm, 3 7/8 in
maker´s mark FJ crowned incuse with French prestige marks, further struck with sunray and crossed S marks, circa 1800, the rim numbered: 5859
rectangular with cut corners, the lid painted en plein with figures of Motherhood and Plenty within circular panels, the ground engraved with flowers with white line ornament

Condition
Very good condition. There are shallow surface abrasions to the enamel roundels. There are minor losses to the white enamel decoration, the largest at right rear side corner, which is 8mm long.
