rectangular with slightly waisted sides, decorated overall in gold piqué posé et point with a delicate pattern of formally-twined scrolls against diaper, scale and dotted patterns, scroll thumbpiece and hinges, the inner rim and one corner with apparently almost contemporary gold reinforcement

Condition
Overall very good condition. As stated in the catalogue description, the inner rim and right front corner with gold reinforcements. Small area of loss to piqué below hinge.
