maker's mark FS in script crowned with French prestige marks, circa 1790



oval, the lid, sides and base decorated with coloured gold paillon urns of flowers and swagged ornament on an ice blue ground within blue and green enamelled trailing flower borders on a sablé ground

Condition

Barely perceptible enamel losses at borders. Front panel with shallow scrape (not down to gold) at upper right, visible in catalogue photo. Otherwise in very good condition.
