Description

the first Dieppe, late 18th century, the bezel applied with cut ivory doves at an altar on a blue foiled ground; the second with oval hairwork bezel overlaid with gilt initials DB within a split pearl frame; the third with oval glazed bezel decorated in hairwork and sepia with twined hearts above a monogram

Condition

1st - one portion of gilt cording from side of altar is detached (visible in photo floating under scroll); mounts are gilt-metal 2nd - good condition apart from mould behind the glass; gold mount 3rd - glass crazed and somewhat use-scratched; some mould and glue seepage near edges; gold mount discoloured Please note this lot contains ivory
