Description

Frenhc, late 18th century



two decorated in red and black enamel, one with a flaming heart and the motto: un seul suffit, opaque azure glass back, the other with an altar to love, the third with a hairwork rebus: Mon [coeur] est à toi, carnelian glass backing

Condition

1st - good condition, minor flaws in amethyst enamel 2nd- is "verre eglomise" with slight clouding behind (mainly visible in catalogue image) 3rd - the hairwork rebus appears to be applied to white glass which has a pinkish tinge from the red glas behind; there are some losses to the hairwork near the top. Please let us know should you require a digital image of this side.
