- 45cm, 17in high with stand
in the form of a tree fern rising from Aboriginal heads, the body crested, inscribed and enclosed by latticed branches and foliage, the cover similarly decorated and rising to an emu finial, on an associated silver-plated stand with fern ornament on emu leg supports
Condition
Marked on body, cover and foot, good marks, general condition very good. The leafy gallery with one or two repairs. Fronds beneath cup missing a few leaves but this generally not noticeable. Some light denting and scratching to footrim and lip of cup and a few minor scratches overall. An unusual and highly decorative piece.
