Condition

Overall very good original condition. The masonite panels in good condition. Two of the masonite panels on the reverse with small losses adjacent to the screws. These are only visible when the ESU is viewed from the reverse. The wooden elements of the frame with nicks, chips and minor surface scratches. The front of the bottom drawer with a small veneer loss measuring 4 x ½ inches. This is visible in the catalogue illustration. The wooden frame below the bottom drawer with wearing and ridges from rubbing against the hardware on the lower portion of the drawer. The metal frame with minor oxidation, spots of corrosion and surface dirt. The white formica sliding door with a vertical line of faint discoloration extending almost he entire height, which is visible in the catalogue illustration and does not detract from the overall appearance of the piece. The two smooth-plywood doors are variants of the standard dimpled door potion. As with all the first edition ESU's the angled legs are fragile and the piece should be moved with care.
