Condition
Overall very good condition. The piece was recently professionally cleaned. The wooden fronts of the four drawers on the upper portion of the case appear slightly darker in color, as seen in the catalogue illustration. The painted door fronts are in original condition and show chips to lower edges, scratches and scattered age cracks consistent with age. With one larger chip (measuring less than a quarter inch) to each of the two inner doors. The inner door on the proper right also with an abraded area, which appears to be a loss to the paint that was attempted to be filled with a darker blue color. This is visible in the catalogue illustration. Each of the compartments opens to reveal a single fixed shelf. With gorgeous rudder-like sculptural feet that are more powerful than they appear in the catalogue.
