Condition
Overall in good condition. The steel case elements of the desk appear to have been repainted. With minor chips and scratches, some of which reveal the original yellow color underneath. The frame also appears to have been repainted and shows very minor wear. The top of the desk appears to have been refinished at some point in the piece's history. Lacking one of the locking devices for the proper left chest of drawers, as visible in the catalogue illustration. The proper left set of drawers in slightly askew. Appear the weld holding the case adjacent to the frame has broken. Drawers are therefore pulling away slightly from the frame. Lacking hardware to attaché the top to the frame, but modern screws could easily be used.
