Description
- George Nakashima
- "Trestle" Dining Table
- with client's name on the underside
- walnut and three East Indian rosewood keys
Provenance
Acquired directly from the artist
Private Collection, New York
Condition
Overall very good original condition. The table has minor surface scratches and nicks, mostly to the lower portion of the legs. This table has two removable leaves, which are slightly darker in color than the table itself. The grain of the leaves goes in the opposite direction of the grain of the table top. An excellent example of the model.
