Description
The circular locket decorated with a pair of joined hearts set with baroque pearls framed by rose-cut diamonds and surmounted by a rose-cut diamond ribbon, opening to reveal two glazed compartments, the oval earrings similarly decorated with pearl and rose-cut diamond hearts. Accompanied by a gold chain set at intervals with 7 seed pearls, length 16ΒΌ inches.
Condition
The chain is not illustrated, but is dotted with seven 3.4 mm seed pearls or grayish color and dull luster. The pearls on the locket are a creamy rose color with good luster and slightly wrinkled skins, approximately 9.1 to 9.3 mm. Set with rose-cut diamonds of decorative quality, some scratching and minor discoloration to the gold. The earrings are of similar design and quality
