Description

  • width 8 3/4 in.
  • 22.2 cm
painted with vignettes of Chinoiserie figures and scattered insects and birds, reserved against a burnished gilt-ground, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue.  Very minor shallow chip to tip of one handle, some very minor wear to gilding.

Condition

Cover: good condition, one or two very minor flakes to gilding on rim edge and slight wear to gilding on knop. Ecuelle: very shallow less then 1/8 in. chip/flake to edge of one handle. Slight wear to gilding on edge of handles.
