Description

  • height 7 ft 9 1/2 in.; width 6 ft 9 1/2 in.; depth 24 in.
  • 237.5 cm; 207 cm; 61 cm
of serpentine form, with tulipwood crossbandings and with painted lines, the molded and crossbanded cornice with arcaded teardrop ornament above two glazed doors flanked by a further door to each side enclosing shelves, the projecting lower part with three graduated drawers flanked by panelled doors inlaid at center with oval panels with burr veneers each opening to a shelf and supported on a confroming molded base with splayed bracket feet, the interior lined with silk. Interior electrified.

Condition

In good restored condition, with small losses and replacements overall particularly to cornice, crossbandings and veneers, with some inpainting and discoloration, several old age cracks to side panels, and to projecting shelf of front, some loose crossbanded moldings to cupboard doors, the handles replaced.
