Description

  • diameter of bowl 23 in.; height of stand 9 1/2 in.
  • 58.4 cm; 24.1 cm
the interior and exterior painted and gilt with panels of figures at various pursuits within borders of butterflies amongst peony, chrysanthemum and other flowers on a gilt ground.  Together with a carved wood stand.  2 pieces.

Condition

There is some slight wear to the gilding on the edge of the rim. There is a deep ½-inch by ¼-inch chip and a deep ¼-inch circular chip on the edge of the foot rim. Overall the punch bowl is in good condition.
