Description

each piece painted in blue enamel with a small floral spray within an iron-red, blue and gilt band, dot and husk border on the gilt-edged rim, comprising: an oval soup tureen, cover and two stands, a rectangular vegetable tureen and cover, a 13½-inch oval meat dish, two sauceboats and stands, eighteen dinner plates and nineteen dessert plates. Some restoration. 47 pieces.

Condition

Both sauceboats have a small shallow chip to the enamel blue band, which has been inpainted. One stand has two small 1/8-inch shallow enamel chips, which have been inpainted. One dinner plate has a 1-inch by ¼-inch restored chip on the rim, which has been oversprayed. There is a 4-inch faint haircrack running across the edge of the center of the plate. There is a faint semi-circular haircrack on the cavetto of one plate approximately 4-inches in length. There is a 2½-inch overpainted haircrack on the rim of one plate. There is a 7-inch by ½-inch restored section of the blue enamel border on the rim of one dinner plate, which has been oversprayed. One dessert plate has a 2½-inch by ½-inch restored section of the blue enamel border on the rim, which has been oversprayed. Another dessert plate has a 1½-inch restored section of the blue enamel border on the rim, which has been oversprayed. Another dessert plate has a restored ½-inch by 1/8-inch small chip on the underside edge of the rim. Another dessert plate has an 1/8-inch shallow chip on the underside of the rim. Overall the service is in good condition.
