each lobed tray painted with floral sprays and molded with scrolled foliage and applied with flowerheads and leaves, the candle nozzle in the form of a budding flower rising from the center, the gilt branch-shaped handle applied with flowerhead thumbpiece.  Very minor restoration and rubbing to gilding.  2 pieces.

Condition

Two of the applied leaves are chipped on one chamberstick. There is a tiny shallow chip on two applied flowerheads, and a 1/8-inch by ΒΌ-inch shallow chip on the underside edge of the flowerhead thumbpiece. The other chamberstick has a restored applied leaf, which has been overpainted. There are tiny chips to three applied flowerheads. The handle has been broken in three places and restored. There is some minor restoration to the area of the stem adjacent to the handle. There is some minor wear to the gilding overall. Otherwise the chambersticks are in generally good condition.
