Description
each piece painted with panels of different Scottish estates and landscapes, named on the underside, reserved on a blue ground gilt with marine motifs, comprising: a waste bowl, a circular dish, eight teacups and eight saucers. Together with a set of ten English Ironstone Imari-decorated dinner plates and two soup plates. Some minor chips. 30 pieces.
Condition
There is a re-glued triangular chip approximately 1-inch by 1-inch above the handle of one cup. There is a hair crack running from one edge of the triangular chip into the bowl approximately 2-inches in length. One saucer has a very fine 1-inch haircrack running from the rim into the bowl. The circular dish has two fine 1-inch haircracks running from the rim into the cavetto. One plate has a very tiny shallow chip on the edge of the rim. One plate has a ¼-inch deep circular chip on the underside edge of the rim. Another plate has a ¾-inch haircrack running across the foot rim. Otherwise both the part tea service and the dinner plates are in generally good condition.
