profusely carved overall with foliate scrolls and flowers, the interior similarly carved and fitted with compartments and a removable tray with pierced fretwork spandrels and centered by a foliate-carved spire.

Very good unrestored condition with nice oxidized surface and patina to exterior, right front foot with spliced lower section above paw; exterior with slight lifting to moldings of top, minor losses to foliate decoration of corners, age crack to right side of central panel, mounts rubbed and appeared to have been silvered, minor losses to studs of corner metal mounts, minor chips to foliate decoration of sides and back; interior - very aromatic, lacking lock, losses to fret-carved decoration of removable central tray and shaped corners, interior of lid with chips and staining, age cracks to interior panel and to well below removable tray, drawers with minor chips to carving, age crack to underside
