  • length of platters 15 1/2in. (39.3cm) height of stand 11 7/8in. (30.1cm)
the platters shaped oval with molded gadroon rims, borders engraved with arms and crest, marked on bases; the cordial stand with shaped square base engraved with arms, raised on four paw feet headed by acanthus, bottle holders with shell and foliate supports, the conforming central ring handle crested, fitted with four cut-glass bottles, marked on base and handle support, base numbered 614, together with four oval bottle tags for gin and scotch, probably American, 20th century

Condition

platters with a little wear and some scratches to surface from use, otherwise good, cordial stand with a little wear to engraving and to bottle tags, two glass bottles with nick to rims, another with broken neck, otherwise good condition
