Private collection, Queensland.
Condition
Bark has fine surface cracking in areas and substantial pigment loss to both the yellow and white pigments, in stable and good condition overall.

Catalogue Note
This painting was commissioned by Mr Spendlove on Groote Eylandt in April 1964 whilst working under contract to the B.H.P manganese mine. It was exhibited upon his return to Western Australia with other 'Native Art and Crafts, at the Sunshine Festival' in his home town of Geraldton, Western Australia
