Condition
Overall in good original condition. The metal elements show surface scratches throughout, nicks, dings and some of the vertical panels with minor warping. The wood throughout with nicks, dings, scratches and insolated losses some with infill. On the side shown in the catalogue illustration, the wooden handles on the red sliding panel are loose and the reverse of the handle with significant white paint along almost the entire length. The panel only moves slightly from its shown position. The lower yellow sliding panel only moves ½ way down the track in the direction of the proper left. On the side not illustrated in the catalogue with a red metal sliding door with significant black writing. Evidence of glue residue on some panels and adjacent areas of the frame. This door only slides halfway along its track. The yellow door on this side is fixed and the track has been filled. The yellow painted sliding door only slides approximately ¾ the way along its track. As always with this model, the feet were not part of the original design of the piece. A very good example of an iconic cooperative design by Perriand and Prouvé.
